read/write data through a Mifare Connection to Secure Element

    Hi all,

i'm new to the forum and i try to understand the examples (SimpleNDEFExample | TicketingExample) which are provided with the Nokia 6131 NFC SDK.
I wonder me if a midlet can access and manipulate a data (and what is the mechanism) through a mifare connection to secure element.

    thanks all!

Re: read/write data through a Mifare Connection to Secure Element

SimpleNDEFRecord example creates an UNKNOWN type record when a target is present and writes contacts, and reads only UNKNOWN type records.

Ticketing example creates ISO14443 connections with the internal card, and with the external card when the target appears. This example needs both cards to have an application installed inside, and the MIDlet use APDU's commands in order to exchange data between both cards.

Re: read/write data through a Mifare Connection to Secure Element

Thanks for your reply and the information,

i saw on this post [http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo....php?t=105670] that the mifare standard connection wasn't yet implemented on the nokia 6131.
So i will wait for the future SDK, but if i want to use ISO14443 connection and APDU commands, could you please give me some links on this technology, since i'm completly lost when i inspect the ticketingexample provided with the SDK or when i try to find any information about it...

    Thanks

For the APDU system, I use this address

    http://www.ttfn.net/techno/smartcards/iso7816_4.html

But what commands I use, this depends about the target application. I have got to make my own version of the "ticketing" application using the same APDU commands, and their application which runs in the secure element. I think, creating your own MIDlet using this "ticketing" application will be fine in order to learn something more about this technology
