    Re: 3rd Edition application

I know a lot of developers have met the problems on how to find the corresponding libraries are linked to when some APIs are used. Attached please find a .html for cross referencing. I found it is very useful. I created it using a utility.

    Re: 3rd edition application weeks!

Panic enabler on S60 3rd edition. After installing this enabler, developers may see more panic codes when panics happen. This is a very simple .sis file. Baisically, it creates some dummy file on the target.

    c:\resource\errrd\bogus.file
    c:\system\bootdata\errrd\bogus.file

Please use your developer certificate to sign it before installing it onto your device.

The attached sample code shows a synchronous way to retrieve the IMEI number of a mobile phone although the method used seems to be asynchronous.

Attached please find a sample code, showing how to make a long running task into some steps to make the active objects more cooperatively. The technic is very useful when an application wants to make it more responsive to the UI while keeping a long running task to run.

The sample code does not use thread. In stead, it uses active object to do it.

Attached please find a sample code for auto-start on S60 3rd edition. It uses the startup-list management API to do it. In addition, a developer is able to disable the auto start in the sample code.
