    CustomItem

    Hello

I'm developing a CustomItem but I have a problem if the Item is bigger than screen. When I traverse it, I put the new position of the item in out array, and return true. The item is repainted but the scroll bar of the form doen't move and the background is not repainted. If I call invalidate method the item works better, but the scroll bar is retarded a click and there are a lot of paranormal effects.

    Can you help me, please?

Thank you and sorry for my English.

    Re: CustomItem

IMHO when the CustomItem is bigger than screen, you should carefully track the situation whenever travarsal is into the component, or whithin it.

Any help from this article? http://developers.sun.com/techtopics...sal/index.html

    Re: CustomItem

    Thank you for the response.

Yes, I've read this article. I do a traversal into the component. I calculate the new position of the item with visRect_inOut param in the traverse method and return true to indicate a traverse into the component. It works in motorola, sony ericsson, ..., but in Nokia the scroll doen't work well.

    Thank you.
