Signing a commercial application using PyS60

Hi, I've browsed through all messages regarding symbian signed vs. PyS60 and deployment. We have developed an application that needs Manufacturer Capabilities and have successfully signed our first version for a few months ago.

We're just investigating if we could use python as our scripting host for our application as well as extend it with several python modules for our specific application needs. Thus allowing 3rd party scripting in some sense. Though it is not clear to me if PyS60 can be included in the signing process for such. Will it fail (seen that back in 2006 it did not comply for low memory usage)?

    Regards,
    Mario

    Hey Mario,

I was just curious if you made any progress about using python as your scripting and more importantly signing ?

No I'm afraid not since I don't have the neccesary info yet, i.e. would it pass signing among other questions. W're about to do the next version of our application and we need some sort of scripting but since nobody is answering my question it is not clear that we can use it in our product.

    Hi,

We're currently using the following capabilities:
    CommDD
    ReadDeviceData
    WriteDeviceData
    NetworkControl
    NetworkServices
    LocalServices
    ReadUserData

    for our application.
