Unhappy How to connect to phone when On Device Debuging?

When I start use Carbide.C++,I most wanted feature is On Device debuging. But I got a big problem that I can't solve. After I start App TRK on device and connect with PC, and start debuging from Carbide.C++, the IDE prompt I select a COM port, but I don't know which COM port is right. Then I tried each COM port from 1 to 15 , both bluetooth and USB cable, but I still don't pick out the right one.
Can you tell me how to know which COM port is mine?

Check from your PC com ports, that which one is set to be BT Host/Client and try both.. Anyway, also remember to set the speed, parity bits etc to be the correct ones. Also shut down the PC suite before starting..

Till now Carbide.C++ Does not Support USB debugging. Only BT is allowed.

Really? I can not carry out on-device debug via USB?
Why? I think this is simpler to implement.
... I do not have any computer that support BT.....

    Hi,

I just went hru this tutorial for setting up on target Debugging usng Carbide c++. Although it is demonstrated using BT. However, the author mentions that one can use
"a Bluetooth dongle or the USB cable that comes with your mobile (Nokia DKU-2 or similar)... ...USB is easier to configure (and quicker if you use a big project)."

The link I am refering to is http://newlc.com/Carbide-c-Setting-up-On-Target.html

According one can check this forum link on how to configure the port.

    Hpe that this helps
