    Camera view finder

Is it possible to set whitebalance, zoom etc. with the view finder? I looked into cameramodule.h etc (my C++ is terrible...) and it seems setSettingsL() is only called when a photo is taken. It is also declared as private. At the moment the only "hack" I could come up with is to just take a photo with certain settings and then the view finder will update to those settings as well. The problem is that with the zoom, there is a big delay. I will attempt change the C++ code at the back if someone wants to give me some guidance, but might be better if someone more skilled did that. :P

Hei Karliski and welcome to the forum

Whitebalance, zoom etc are only supported with take_photo.
