    Cool Capacity of List Control ??????

    How many elements a List can display i.e. how many elements can be appended at a time ?

    There is no defined maximum for this. Some phones might run out of memory faster than the others. Also long lists are slow to display and use (in MIDP), so i would recommend against long lists in general

    Thats right.
    suppose my server is sending 50 elements. I have to show on device. After that I hv to perform certain operation on element selected by user from displayed list. So definetly I can't show all of them at a time. So how wd I know about capacity of displaying elements at a time from perticular device? so based on tht I can supply that number of elements. ( so on request, I wd supplied other remaining elements from server)
