    IIS can't recognize "wbmp" file.

    Hello , Nokia Support:

    After I added the following MIME type in my IIS 5.0 server , everything works fine while accessing .wml file, but when I included .wbmp files in wml pages , the simulator only shows alt name.

    I try to view the "session information" in Nokia Wap toolkit and , ridiculously , the mime type shows in session informaiton is "text/vnd.wap.wml" and the error message is "Exception in Encoding:ParseException converting 'http://*****/ttlogo.wbmp' to WML binary format (This deck does not begin with an XML Processing Instruction...)"

    I'm very sure that I configure the MIME type correctly.

    Following is the code in .wml file and MIME type I configured in my IIS 5.0 server , can anybody help me?

    ==============content in .wml file=====================
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <!DOCTYPE wml PUBLIC "-//WAPFORUM//DTD WML 1.1//EN" "http://www.wapforum.org/DTD/wml_1.1.xml">
    <!-- #include file="big5.asp" -->

    <wml>
    <img src="/wbmp/ttlogo.wbmp" alt="Logo"/>

    </wml>

    ==============MIME I configured in IIS 5=====================
    image/vnd.wap.wbmp .wap
    text/vnd.wap.wml .wml
    application/vnd.wap.wmlc .wmlc
    text/vnd.wap.wmlscript .wmls
    application/vnd.wap.wmlscriptc .wmlsc

    RE: IIS can't recognize "wbmp" file.

    Hi!

    If you have set the MIME type like this

    clip----
    image/vnd.wap.wbmp .wap
    ---clip

    it doesn't work as the correct file extension for wireless bitmaps is *.wbmp.

    Please change your MIME type definition to image/vnd.wap.wbmp .wbmp
