    take photo confirmation

hi, I have developing a j2me application that use the camera. When the midlet is running and I take a snapshot, the phone ask me: " ¿Permitir a la aplicación CapturaVideo Midlet Suite usar las apls. de sopnido, ...". CapturaVideo is the name of my application. If I don't acept it don't take the snapshot. When I want take other snapshot the pone ask me again. How I do that the phone don't ask it?

    Sorry for my bad English.

A little bit of searching on these forums would definitely brought you answer to your question. Also the Forum Nokia wiki contains information on this
    http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...curity_Domains

Basic answer is that you can change the API access settings even for your unsigned app so that the confirmations are asked only first time when you execute your app. If you want to get rid of the confirmations altogether, you need to sign the MIDlet and then after installation change the settings for Multimedia to be "always allowed"

    Re: take photo confirmation

In general, there are a number of certificates installed on Nokia devices (for MIDlet sigining). There is a cost involved with each of those (Java Verified - testing fee; Verisign, Thawte - fee for buying the certificate). There is no method to install additional certificates on the phone. Except on S60 2nd Edition devices, on those devices this possible due to a bug. See instructions here:

Thanks Hartti. I found this link due your other answer, but I would not like doing due to a bug.
