Installing an empty file or directory

I put this on my .pkg file to generate an empty file or directory

    ""-"!:\system\apps\MyApp\EmptyFolder", FN

    I got help from
    http://www.symbian.com/developer/tec...ang_indep.html

but when i tried it on the device, EmptyFolder was not created. Does anyone knows how to create an empty folder from PKG?

That line does not make an file, it is used to remove (during uninstallation) a file made after the installation. Instead just make an empty file and copy it to the location as you would de with any other file.

You can also use the nul device instead of creating an empty file for installation:
    Code:
    "nul"-"!:\system\apps\MyApp\empty.file"
Empty folders cannot be created during installation time.
