7650 browser setting and bookmark setting via OTA

    Hi,

I would like to know how to send a bookmark via OTA with connection information (browser-seeting). I follow the document "Over The Air Setting Specifications" v7.0, page 30, but my phone does not recognize the sms sent. The PDU is:-

    first sms:-
    0B0504C34FC002000304020101062C1F2A6170706C69636174696F6E2F782D7761702D70726F762E62726F777365722D73657474696E67730081EA01016A0045C6060187124501871311033132332E34352E362E370001872111032B34350001872270010186071103687474703A2F2F7761702E646B0001C6080187151103414243000101C67F0187151103

    second sms:-
    0B0504C34FC0020003040202576170000187171103687474703A2F2F7761702E646B00010101

Any expert know why ? I know how to send a bookmark without connection information. But I need to send connection information (browser-setting) with the bookmark. Thanks in advance.

    BR,
    hy

RE: 7650 browser setting and bookmark setting via OTA

All I can say is try again and/or blame your operator? I tried this, and it seemed to work fine on a 7650 - with 3.12 sw, which should be the version you have.

I will say that I myself was having troubles with OTA settings last week, and this week the same messages seem to work fine - I know there wasn't a full moon, so I'm not sure where the problem was...

Also, you may want to try and turn your phone off and back on before trying - the only explanation I could come up with for my own problem was that maybe a previous INCORRECT message was being confused for the newer, CORRECT one....

RE: 7650 browser setting and bookmark setting via OTA

    Hi all,
I have the same problem with a NO7650 and also with a NO6310i.

The development of the OTA msgs was done using the "Over The Air Setting Specifications" v7.0 and it is working fine for NO6310 and NO8310.
!!!Please note that I'm using a direct connection to the operator SMSC.

Can you help me with this issue?

    KR,
    George
