    Hi All

Does anyone know if / when a series 60 phone that supports JSR-257 will be available?

    Thanks

Re: JSR-257 On Series 60 Phone

I don't know of any plans to launch such a device, although even if there were plans, they would be confidential.

Currently our only JSR-257 device is the 6131 NFC, Series 40 3rd. Edition FP1.

Re: JSR-257 On Series 60 Phone

    Hi dcrocha

Thanks for your response. Using a camera as a barcode reader is something that I have been harping on about for more than a year now (I currently use a blutooth reader, which has price implications as well as the user having to carry around a seperate device).

The problem with the 6131 NFC is the screen size

Do you know if there are any plans to release JSR-257 on a Series 40 phone that is similar to the Nokia 6300 (that phone at least runs my app properly because of the screen size)

    Regards
    Steve
