    Question 2 apps and gprs

I need to run 2 applications on real device:

One application should runs in background mode (C++ native)

and other one sould be used by user (Java MIDP 2.0)

But they both need to get HTTP connection via GPRS

Is it possible to share GPRS to 2 applications?

    Re: 2 apps and gprs

I know its possible in theory. The GPRS modem's usually have multislot classes with X number of uplinks & downlinks. Im not sure if it will be possible to get access to them via c++ & j2me at the same time...

If its not possible, you could open a socket to call the native Symbian C++ app from J2ME and gather the data thru there.

But hang on, somebody does proberly know if its possible!

Yes, it is possible, but on java the user will get the list of AP to choose from.
