Unhappy How to uninstall an SDK

    Hello all

    I have just started working on SymbianC++. I have installed Symbian 9.2 \ S60_3rd_Feature Pack 1
But I find that it cant go with E61i. So what can I do at this point? Should I uninstall it? Or Installing S60 3rd ed[maintenance release?] along with already existing one will do? If yes, then what precautions are to be taken?

I have already developed some sample applications and when i tried to install them in my E61i, I got 'software incompatible with phone' error.

    Please help me.
    Thanks,
    Deepak

you can have multiple SDKs on your computer, thus it is ok to leave the 3.1 there when installing 3.0 SDK.

You can install multiple SDK. So no problem with that.

And would you please elaborate more about "some simple applications" ?

    Should I? :D

Actually, I was trying to install 'simple' HelloWorldBasic example. In between, I spoiled the source files, playing around with them[forgot to take backup :D]

Now trying to install 'simple' AknNotes example.
Pardon me if i did something to dishonor the symbian community. Development in Symbian C++ seems to me as a tough job with my small bit of experience.

    Btw, why did you ask?

And Thanx Yucca and Kiran. Let me download and install the Maintenance release. :)

Because such "HelloWorldBasic" example would work in E61i also though it has been from S60 3rd FP1 SDK.

Anyways it would be good to develop applications for devices with their respective SDK.

In future you may want to look into this: http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/matrix_all_1.html

Yeah, even that notes application worked with E61i.

But I will work with the MR version for that device in future.

    Thanks.:)
