    Unhappy SymbianOS error=-18

    Hello all,

I am trying to play mp3 on a Sony-Ericsson P910, and I'm getting the error
Symbian OS error: -18 in a "MediaException". aac, amr,wav have the same error,,, but mid sound files can be played normally.

I've tried adding in "sleep"s to let it get ready, but it hasn't helped.

Can anyone shed any light on what might be causing this?

you could see errors description in this place: http://www.newlc.com/Symbian-OS-Erro...=error%20codes

Anyway, you need to wait untill the file is open before trying to play it. I'm rather sure that Wiki has some examples of audio playing thus have a look into there as well.

Are these file formats supported by this device's MMAPI? Anyway, we don't mess around SonyEricsson phones here perhaps you could have better answers on their forums.
