    5510 - Why LSE??

is there any chance to tell me (and others?) why Nokia did choose to use the LSE (AAC) format as the only one supported to play digital music on the 5510?????

This requires me to duplicate all MP3's - plain mp3 for "normal" operations and LSE for downloading to my 5510 (and the ones I hear are the ones I digitalized from my old LP's!).

I understand that this is a political rather than a technical question but would be very glad to hear an offical statement from Nokia to a customer (and shareholder).

I would like to encourage you to search for a possibility for each customer to choose which format to use. A "downstripped" "EEPROM" verson of the "OS" would be helpful - even a "use at your own risk" version.

I would like to thank you for the feedback, however at the moment this isn't the right place for this conversation. I will forward you feedback to more proper place and to people responsible about this subject.

    Best regards,
