    Keypad symboles

    Hi,

I would like to know that why on Nokia E-65 keypad there are some symbols like music notes or (like a hocky stick and more :-) ) only on keys 1,2,3,4,5.

Secondly, I would like to know is that why there is two embossed vertical bars on key 5.

And last I would like to know about an up arrow symbol on # key.

    Thanks

    Kiran

I do not own Nokia E-65 so i don't have any comments on keys 1 to 5.

But i can tell you about arrow symbol on # key.
For e.g: If you write a message, you may like to enable dictionary mode, number mode etc... Press down for some time to enable Number mode.

Just play with that # key while writing the message, you would notice the change.

The vertical bars on key 5 are there to allow blind typing (you can feel with your finger which one is 5-key, the same way keycaps j and f are marked on normal computer keyboards)

No idea of the music notes on keys 1-5... Try pressing the keys 1-5 a little longer and see what happens (I do not have them on my E65 so it is likely some regional thing)

Actually, the up arrow present in "#" key means that key activates capital letters: just like "caps" in a PC keyboard.

Of course, the key has other functions, like kiran mentioned

    best regards
