    Re: Certificate Error..

You have not included right certificate, or you forgot to enable installing "all" from application manager's settings.

I have developed an application using s60 3rd edition...

I want to include the certificate in that application or the certificate will automatically install?
    Thanks & Regards

basically you need to sing the sis file with signsis aommand line program, before sending it to the phone.

You might want to describe the steps you have taken in order to get your installation file.
And make sure that you have enabled installation of "All" applications in the settings of your device. E-series comes with restricted ("Signed only" or something similar) setting.

If you've set device's "Application Manager" to accept all in "software installation" setting, and even so you're still getting

    "Certificate error.Contact the application supplier"

when trying to install your application, then it's not signed at all.

Verify carefully what you're doing, cause something is wrong and the final .sis file isn't being signed for some reason

    best regards

the file that your installing is unsigned version...you need to sign it in order to work or set the time to 2006...and kindly check the application manager in TOOLS FOLDER click it then wait click OPTIONS then SETTINGS these are what you going to see
    SOFTWARE INSTALLATION - ALL
    ONLINE CERTIF. CHECK - OFF

Well, his problem isn't related to certificate's validity period.
If it was the case, his phone would show the certificate either had expired, or isn't valid yet.
