Wrong data to internal 4k on block 3 of one of sector

Access conditions on block 3 of one of sectors of Nokia 6131 NFC internal 4K tag was set to wrong values. So this sector is not accesable anymore.

Is any way to reset those values? So it will be possible to write data to this sector again.

That depends on what 'wrong' value you set it to. If the internal verification check performed by the MiFare card failed then the it is blocked permenantly. If you wrote an ACL which permits either key from changing block 3 then you can't change it. If you wrote an ACL which locks you out of the other blocks but you can still write to block 3 then you can just over-write block 3.

    Well for example 40 40 40 40.
    40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 in block 3 of sector 1.

Without looking it up, that will almost certainly have failed the internal verification and blocked it permanently.

Thank you for answers. Its really look like this sector is permanently blocked.

A question to the Nokia people,
is there no 'secret' reset for the SE on the phone?

If you are referring to having authenticated incorrectly 10 times to the secure element then there is no way to undo this once you have locked yourself out.

Thanks for the reply Phoenix, but i was asking if you can 'reset' your mifare card after locking your Mifare card due too bad access bits.

I assume it is the same if the phone is locked because of 10 wrong key attempts.

The secure element works EXACTLY like a MiFare card, so if there is no way to undo this on a real MiFare (I don't think there is) then there is no way to undo it on the 6131.

Cool Re: Wrong data to internal 4k on block 3 of one of sector

Bad access bits will lock your MIFARE card for ever.
See MIFARE NXP documentation and make some testing on cheap cards before doing this on the MIFARE card emulated by 6131.

Well... I am not sure but "I think" MIFARE 4K container of 6131 is no more than a do-not-delete Applet stored on SE. Am I right ? If this is the case, it is still possible for the Manufacturer to reset the container.
