    SVG Icon and display resolution

Hi all, I've got another tedious question about SVG. I think that svg it's a very good idea, and you can strech or reduce the image without lost resolution. So if I make an svg icon why the dimension of the icon change when the display resolution change?? I have made an icon that fit well on N93, on N80 is smaller. Why the SVG it's not adjusted?? am I wrong? or this is a normal behavior? And it's possible to use svg in listbox so the image in the listbox can resize automaticaly? it's very tedious to duplicate all the image only for fit better on different display

Re: SVG Icon and display resolution

I read about SVG-T (Tiny profile) and I think that if I use this format, perhaps the icon resize itself in the phone menu. But how can I create an svg-t icon? I try with inkscape but I'm not able to find somthing like "Profile tiny" or similar. It's possible to convert SVG in SVG-T?

No idea. never used and have not seen any one using it. I am very happy with "Adobe Illustrator" so have not tried any other except inkscape which gives problem some times...

I add the property baseProfile="tiny" to the svg created with inkscape and I think that could be the way to make an icon scalable

Yes, it's normal behaviour.Icons in N80 are smaller, cause physical size of screen is smaller.

actually it is adjusted.Change screen orientation to landscape in N80 and you'll see icons become larger.

Re: SVG Icon and display resolution

When you use Inkscape for drawing icons, save your icon in plain svg format and use SVG2SVGT tool for changing it to svg-tiny. You don't have to buy licence for Adobe Ilustrator or other this way.
