    Re: serious problem

    Hi Amit ,

    You can launch the uninstaller programatically in following way.

    HTML Code:
    #include <apacmdln.h>
    #include <eikdll.h>
    #include <install.h>

    CApaCommandLine* cmdLine;

    cmdLine=CApaCommandLine::NewLC();
    cmdLine->SetLibraryNameL(_L("z:\\syatem\\appa\\install\\inst.app"));

    cmdLine->SetDocumentNameL(_L("c:\\system\\install\\myApp.sis"));

    cmdLine->SetCommandL(EApaCommandRun);

    cmdLine->SetTailEndL(KUninstallCommandLineTail);

    EikDll::StartAppL(*cmdLine);

    CleanupStack::PopAndDestroy();
    I think you want to uninstalled your app programatically ...right????
    if you are using 3rd editon then RSWInstLauncher is solution hopefully ..but it is not publicaly available ..

    You might consider copying this file to the PC, and checking what it is. Can it happen that you are using AppFullName or similar method when creating some file?

    in your .pkg file there are paths like "!:\system\apps\Hotel\Hotel.aif", and next you speak about private folder.

    For what platform are you developing, 2nd or 3rd edition?

    Re: serious problem

    That is a typo. However if you comment "#include <install.h>", you will see that line "cmdLine->SetTailEndL(KUninstallCommandLineTail);" fails. So KUninstallCommandLineTail is what is required. And if you search for KUninstallCommandLineTail in epoc32\include, you will quickly find instapp.h, that is what you have to #include.
    Note that this solution is for S60 2nd (and probably 1st) edition devices. In case of S60 3rd edition, get the compatible plug-in pack from http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/SDK_API_Plug-in, and check SW Installer Launcher API.
