icon not visible in the application menu of an n77

we have a problem reg. the visibility of an application icon on a n77.

while the icon is visible on an n73, it is not really visible in the application menu of an n77.

    note:
the n77 can show the icon, because in the taskswitch menu, the icon of the application is visible .

    can you help?

    welcome to Forum Nokia, elfelipe

if the icon appears as a jigsaw piece in the menu, it's weird, cause you told after opening the application, the icon appears correctly in the task switcher

Or do you mean there's some other problem (not the jigsaw piece) with the icon that makes it not visible (i.e. bad graphics)?

    best regards

Is it related to compressed SVG? Check this page, http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...on_3rd_edition

Re: icon not visible in the application menu of an n77

I'm using Carbide.c++ v 1.2 and the specific problem is as follows:

The icon that appears in the menu application is the default icon for the S60 3er Edition GUI Project in Carbide.c++, but in the tasks witch menu the icon is the one that I specified or changed. When I change the view of the menu to List-View, the desired icon appears like I wanted.

I have tried the /X option, like Antony said, but I get an Error: Invalid argument /X. The mifcon is as follows (in Carbide.c++):
    mifconv $(ICONTARGETFILENAME) \
    /H$(EPOCROOT)epoc32\include\ESGDemo.mbg \
    /c32 $(ICONDIR)\qgn_menu_ESGDemo.svg

Thanks and I will appreciate your help....

this last statement is quite weird...specially if you consider it's working fine on N73
