    Hi,

This point is discussed in the forum in couple of posts.
There is no public API for this and you need to do some workarounds and not sure whether they work or not. Refer

MR packets are including API's for profiles that should also work with OS 9.1 devices, so have a look into them.

For 2nd edition, there are no public APIs available.

    ,there is :

Solution for changing the ringing tone:

    The required library is ProfileEngine.lib

    The required header files are: mproengengine.h, proengfactory.h, mproengprofile.h, mproengtones.h

    The required capability is WriteDeviceData

I could find none of the "ProfileEngine.lib,mproengengine.h, proengfactory.h, mproengprofile.h, mproengtones.h" under the MR packets .
It should only contained in 3rd,FP1

at least S60_3rd_SDK_MR_API_Plug-In_Pack_v4.zip, has profile engine libraries and some headers included in it, thus have a look again.

I have no idea which kind-of version you have, mine at least has libraries for target builds.
