Change certificate's trust settings with CUnifiedCertStore

    Hi,

I am installing a self-signed SSL certificate using CUnifiedCertStore. The certificate installs successfully, but I cannot change its trust settings.
I tried to do it with CUnifiedCertStore:: SetTrust() and with MCTWritableCertStore:: SetTrust(). Both of them complete with KErrNone but the certificate’s trust settings are not changed. What could be the problem here?

Also I do not understand what kind of trust these methods are supposed to set: Internet, Online cert. check or both of them? I need to set them both to true, maybe I need to use some other ways?

    Thanks,
    ivey

    P.S.: I am doing it on S60 3rd Ed

Re: Change certificate's trust settings with CUnifiedCertStore

I have found a solution. Besides setting trust, applicability should also be set for KTlsApplicabilityUid (for Internet) and KSwiOcspApplicabilityUid (for Online cert.check).
