please helpme?.. this is the problem when mobile stolen..

we know that whenever we loose our mobile or when it is stolen, the new owner always changes the sim card and starts using it. there are no mean what so ever to track him down. so here is wat i was thinking to write an application which will be hidden in the OS of the mobile. the application will have to read the MSISDN, 10 digit mobile no of the new sim card and then send an SMS (without the intervention of user, an OS initiated SMS) to a predefined number which is also stored with the application. so when the thief changes the SIM card and switches on the mobile , after the initial registration the mobile should automatically read the new mobile no(available in the sim memory) and then send an sms.

it may so happen that u urself me switch off and then switch on the handset so agian the mobile will send an sms to avoid this we can disable the auto message option but it will ask for user authentication password for disabling the option. so only the legitimate user can turn off the option.

so no matter how many times the thief changes the sim card we will always have his new mobile no, we can call him up and ask him to return the handset, he will be left with no option but to throw away the mobile.

please suggerst how to solve the this problem..
    thanks inadavance

    - Sample application which will send message to stored number.
    - Store IMSI number of original owner.
    - Autostart module.
    - Compare new IMSI with stored IMSI on boot up.

    That's it.

one morething we did is if IMSI changes with the original IMSI of owner we locked the entire keys so that stolen mobile cannot be operated and beeps alarm continously...

    Go through this Wiki page:
    http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/SMS_Operations

Store the number in a file. Read the file whenever you need. And send the message on that number.

    Oh my dear,

Just create one fresh "HelloWorld" type project. It will have all the skeleton files by default. You may find "Container" or "View" class there.
That's why i have given a name like "CYrApplicationContainer.h". Copy-Paste the stuffs in your own container class.
