Socket problem - Python server - C++ exe client

    Hi,

I am trying to connect to a TCP/IP server in python using the C++ Sockets example running as an exe. I have tried "127.0.0.1/5555" & "0.0.0.0/5555" separately but everytime the client is unable to connect to the server. I am giving the correct ip address and port number at the client side to connect. I am using a a second edition phone. Has anyone tried this before and got it working ? Is there any inherent restriction about how sockets work on the phone OR are there just a few specific port numbers that we can use?

Appreciate any input on this problem

    Zahoor
