    Hi fellow champion!

You can use Eclipse with PyDev module for the Python scripts.
    http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/Eclipse_%2B_PyDev

For your extensions you can use Carbide since it has all the DLL debuggin tools inside (depending if it's a commercial license or not). The other advantage with carbide is that it is developed on top of eclipse. So if you install the Java libraries to Carbide via the update manager, you'll be able to code your Symbian C++ stuff as for example Python DLL and also have Python project in the same IDE.

You don't need any complicated structure for PyS60 application. Basically only one file with the source to be interpreted inside and you push it into the python directory.

If I'm not mistaking they have stopped supporting CodeWarrior and I am not sure you'll have Python IDE extensions for it.

Re: want to build python src

It is possible to use any S60 IDE that is able to import .mmp and bld.inf files for compiling the PyS60 source.

Just configure the source using setup.py configure and import the bld.inf from the top level.
