Vibra max. duration capability based on device

    Hi,

I'm a newbie, is there any API method to determine the max. duration of Vibra API based on the device capability? An already available S60 method MaxDuration() returns KHWRMVibraMaxDuration (which is defined as const TInt KHWRMVibraMaxDuration( (KMaxTInt / 1000) - 1 ); in file \epoc32\INCLUDE\HWRMVibra.h) of type uint32, will always give value 2147482 for all the devices. But I need device specific (based on hardware - vibration motor) value to be returned. Can anyone throw light on this?

Re: Vibra max. duration capability based on device

    The value of KHWRMVibraMaxDurationis equivalent of (KMaxTInt / 1000) - 1 )
i think the API is returning u the same value(u can crosscheck it).It means the device can support this much time duration of vibration.i think all the devices will be returing the same value.
