Can we show errors or debug JavaScript on the S60 SDK? No reply from S60 WebKit team.

I am searching for a solution to debug JavaScript on the S60 SDK or show script error messages. I have send an email to the S60 WebKit Team from Nokia but they have not replied yet.

If there is a way to display error messages I would appreciate if you can post it in this forum.

    Thank you.

There's no way to do it with the SDK.
The tool isn't intented for development of web pages.

Don't worry, if you need it, you can use some software intented for web pages development.
Dreamweaver MX (for example) features a Javascript debugger.

The emulator can be used to debug Symbian C++ codes (of the application itself) and not third party codes (like javascript or HTML)

Let me intercede, I believe Alb3530 is giving you very good answers to your questions, or at least they appear to be good answers for the question as I read it. Perhaps you are not using the correct terms or describing the problem clearly.

I am closing this thread and suggest you create a new thread, that clearly identifies what the problem is. If you would like, feel free to send me the message that you sent to the WebKit team and who you sent it to and I'll see if I can stir some action on it... at least a reply telling you to use support or getting the error codes from a Java Script isn't possible.
