    Can not send SMS when using SDK2 + 6210 + IrDA

    Hi,

    I can write a program to send SMS messages by using Nokia PC Connectivity SDK2 + DLR-3P cable + 6210. It is OK and very stable.

    But,when I using the IrDA interface to instead the DLR-3P interface,
    My computer can detect the phone and the Nokia Connection Manager also can detect the phone but my program can not send any SMS message and I will receive a error code : 7935 (unknow error).

    Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?

    Thank you.

    RE: Can not send SMS when using SDK2 + 6210 + IrDA

    Hi my name is Leonardo from Caracas Venezuela, I found about you on the Developers Discussion Board and would like to see if you can help me with a problem I'm having when try to send a message using the SDK PC Connectivity 3.0 Visual Basic and a Nokia 3320, basically I'm getting the following error number: 4870 "Message Send Failed" when the instruction
    Call smsObj.SendSMS(SHORTMESSAGE_ROUTE_TYPE_ANY, submitObj) executes.

    This is the code I'm using:

    Private Sub Command1_Click()

    On Error GoTo ErrorTrap
    Dim smsEntry As NokiaCLMessaging.ShortMessageItem
    Set smsEntry = New NokiaCLMessaging.ShortMessageItem

    smsEntry.Type = SHORTMESSAGE_TYPE_TDMA_SUBMIT
    Set submitObj = smsEntry.TypeProperties
    submitObj.Message = "Hola esto es una prueba"
    submitObj.DestinationAddress = "6291153"
    submitObj.OriginatorAddress = "6128321"

    Call smsObj.SendSMS(SHORTMESSAGE_ROUTE_TYPE_ANY, submitObj)

    Exit Sub

    ErrorTrap:
    MsgBox "Source: " & Err.Source & Chr$(10) _
    & "ErrorDescription: " & Err.Description _
    & Chr$(10) & "HelpContext: " & Err.HelpContext

    End Sub

    Thanks in advance for any help you can offer me.

    Regards

    Leonardo
