    How to enable and disable different menu panes within same view?

    hi,
    I am developing an application which has 3 -4 dialogs with forms within a view, i need to get different menupanes[different menuitems within the options button] enabled on launching different dialogs,

    I am not able to get the control within the DynInitMenuPaneL to set the items to Dimmed.
    Could anyone please tell me how to do it??
    when i am launching the second dialog
    how do i get the control to the DynInitMenuPaneL , which is in the class extended from CAknForm class.

    thanks

    varsha.

    Let me make sure I understand:

    You have a view.
    From that view you can launch 3-4 different dialogs.
    Each of the dialogs contains a different form.
    You want each dialog/form to provide differing menu items.

    If you create a menu resource for each dialog in your rss file, then pass the appropriate one to each form on construction you should get the above behaviour.

    CAknForm::ConstructL(aMenuResource);
