    Programming small devices

    I have a Nokia 1600.

If I get the USB cable, would I have a chanse to augment the software as I wanted? Is the operative system/gui source code perhaps available? It would be neat to mess with it. I have a hard time finding an SDK for this model.

Hi Tony Clifton! Welcome to Nokia Developer discussion Boards!!

AFAIK, Nokia 1600 is a low end model and does not support third party applications like Java or Symbian C++.

What ever is the operation system of the device, Symbian or Nokia operating system. It's not possible to make changes for that.
