    Re: Bluetooth in windows

    Hello conian

In what context in widows do you want to use the bluetooth? Do you want to use bluetooth with a mobile application or just to transfer files or data?
    Please Elaborate...

You can use the same PyBluez module both in Linux and Windows:

Note that there are at least three different (and incompatible) Bluetooth stacks for Windows XP. Microsoft introduced its own stack on XP SP2. Then there are commercial stacks such as Widcomm and Bluesoleil, maybe others. PyBluez supports Microsoft and Widcomm stacks. It is generally not possible to install more than one Bluetooth stack at the same time.

On Linux there's one official Bluetooth stack, Bluez, so the situation is easier.

Yes, you could do it with BlueSoleil

Please explain. To my knowledge, PyBluez does not support Bluesoleil and searching python bluesoleil on Google turns up nothing.
