With 2,350 views it was an easy decision.

Re: [announce] aXYZ 1.0.0 using XYZ axes of the N95 accelerometer !

    Hello ,

The NRC team which bring us the wonderful Accelerometer plugin has released today the Nokia Activity Monitor

The Nokia Activity Monitor displays charts and statistics, in real-time, about your movements while walking or running. It counts the number of steps, and determines the distance covered and the energy expenditure. Summaries are stored in a diary so that you can compare your activity level on different days, and over longer periods of time. Your steps are detected by analysing the output from the accelerometer in an S60 smart phone.

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

The Nokia Activity Monitor is now available for download at http://research.nokia.com/projects/activity_monitor. We would very much like to know what you think about it so please send us your feedback via the contact forms provided on the webpage.

Thank you for your patience and enjoy!

    Regards

    Ole Kirkeby
