    Assembly & Symbian C++

    Can i use ARM Assembly code in Symbian C++ ..

    Yes.

    (Apparently a message has to be at least 10 characters so I'll add that Symbian adds no restrictions on using ARM assembler than in a normal C++ project.)

    Hi,

    yes of course - but you have to do it twice: On emulator (which is on x86 Wintel) you must use C++, where for device build you will use assembler.

    Generally yes, you can. Some examples can be found in the Symbian FAQ page (http://www.symbian.com/developer/tec...QIndexCPP.html), and you can also search for words like assembler or assembly in the Forum.
    However KevinD says (http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...ight=assembler), that in-line assembly is not supported by GCCE, so it also depends on the SDK and tools you use.
    In http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...ight=assembler Yangliu21 shows a file that compiles - however there is no sign if GCCE or RVCT is used.
