    making .sis with no source files for passive content

    Hello.
    I am trying to make a .sis containing no executable files,
    in order to make a passive content .sis,
    but makesis (both through Carbide or directly from command line)
    refuses to make it because "no source files specified".
    Any ideas ?
    Thank you very much

    Re: making .sis with no source files for passive content

    Here it is (I intend the installation to just put
    a configuration file in an import folder of another application,
    here I just use a dummy file) :

    ;Language - standard language definitions
    &EN

    ; standard SIS file header
    #{"PassiveTest"},(0x2000DFF1),1,0,0

    ;Localised Vendor name
    %{"SomeVendor"}

    ;Unique Vendor name
    :"mailvision"

    ;Supports Series 60 v 3.0
    [0x101F7961], 0, 0, 0, {"Series60ProductID"}

    ;Files to install

    "..\data\dummy.txt" -"!:\private\2000DFF0\import\dummy.txt"

    It would create the sis file, did you check the source path mentioned in the pkg file.

    Re: making .sis with no source files for passive content

    one problem is that the sis UID does not match with the private folder UID.

    // missed the import folder... thus it should be ok
