    control mobile by computer

is the only way to control the mobile by treating it like a modem and send AT-command to it
    all i need is
1- plug a cable to the phone (or use IRD)
2- make a VB or VC programe that tell the mobile to dial xxx
3- now use the same API to hault the mobile and switch to dial another number
4- hangup the first call after a while

is these steps posible if so what is the model i need and the API to download?

    RE: control mobile by computer

    Hi,

You can use supported SDK for creating application like this or you can also use AT-commands for application development. You need to connect the phone to PC via supported connection methods (IrDA, cable, Bluetooth) and make the call from the software. For controlling multiple calls at the same time you need to have multiple phones connected, also are you making voice or data call? You can use phone models with integrated modem for data calls, with voice calls controlling the calls is more difficult.

    Best regards,

If you intend just to originate data calls you can use Nokia equipments with internal modem
At hiper-terminal you can test it. It is very easy using standard AT commands.
At other side if you intend to receive data calls using TDMA or even GSM do not use Nokia cel phones with internal modems. You have better choices with Ericsson, Motorola and LG. Almost Nokia equipments with internal modem are not able to receive automatically a data call. If you want to really use Nokia cel equipments with internal modem, try to get from Nokia a written statment that phone is able to automatically receive a data call and what is the correct command to make it possible.
