I believe hooklogger works only with emulator, and this windows GUI application is not an open-source. Is it right?

I am little confused with on-device debugging and crash debugger. On-device debugging is equivalent to emulator debugging but the launched app by carbide runs on device, and carbide allows us to debug, using Target Resident Kernel package.

From, http://www.symbian.com/developer/tec...les/frame.html I come to know that the base OS porting folks need to enable to provide crash debug build. On the retail devices in market, won't this be enabled by default, so that user's can connect serially to the device via hyper-term and interact.

Thanks!
