    Configuring Offline Help

I've just setup my Carbide.C++ environment and compiled/run my first application. I'd like to use the help facility to get me started but the computer I'm using for development is not connected to the web. Help in Carbide tries to phone home and the browser comes up empty.

Is there ANY way I can download and install the help components locally??

    Tks!

    Re: Configuring Offline Help

Hi - The help in Carbide.c++ is local (Help > Help Content) and uses localhost to fetch data. Not sure what your problem could be but if it doesn't come up for you, you might try to configure to use external browser under the Help preference page ("Use external browser" option).
