    Java or C++

    hello guys i ws thinking abt developing a face recognition software for symbian phones.. hmmm but i am confused whether to use java or c++.... so what is the best choice..???will the system be too slow if java is used for image processing..???

    I would go with Symbian C++. Rationale:
    Better access to camera and image stream (both for getting the data to be processed and to draw on top of the viewfinder image)
    Faster processing of the image
    Tools cost the same (nothing)

    Of course learning to code with Symbian C++ takes more time...

    oh ok... then i will go for symbian c++... can u suggest a good ebook for me to study... have some experience with traditional c++... but entirely new to symbian environment...
