    SNAP to leave PS2 Online?

Recently an announcement was made about SNAP leaving the Online Playstation2 Business. Why are you leaving? There isn't a possibility of you guys releasing the source code so the games that have online capability can stay online?

Our community has sent several emails, but none of us have received a reply.

    Thanks.

Hey there. This topic interests me as well so I must follow up on the topic creator's question - which is no business of Capcom or any other company but your own - why has SNAP decided to leave this business?

    No Reply because
SNAP is "SNAP Mobile - Scalable Network Application Package" for Nokia Mobile.

This is not "Sega Network Application Package" as described

maybe you are confused with some other servers *NOT* related to Nokia at http://neoseeker.com/forums/5903/t10...n-on-nov-15th/

The N-Gage original first Edition servers were shut down recently to make way for the new N-Gage program.
    see http://arena.n-gage.com/nokia/board?board.id=63
Which run on Java MIDP 2.0

Resident Evil on a mobile ;-) not even on Nokia N95 in 2008
Monster Hunter? not on a mobile
    Outlander not mobile not n-gage

Please when posting this is Nokia Mobile Developers Forum, The Acronym (SNAP) may be the same but check the placing is NOT PS2
Please DO NOT POST SEGA problems in this forum.

Even if there is slight chance something in the distant past to do with Sega, then this is 2008 not 2005 and no longer relevant.

You can check that SNAP (Scalable Network Application Package) Mobile servers are still working at http://eu.snaparcade.com/

    Thanks,
    Jim
