    Get Text

    Hi,
    I am new to symbian.In my application i am creating a dialog box for text by CAknTextQueryDialog ,Now i want to get that text.
    How can i get That Desc Text.
    But how to do it??????
    Plz Help ...........

    You are propably passing a TBuf or simlar type variable into the dialog when cinstructing it. This variable should then have the text that was entered into teh dialog,

    I want to transfer text to connected bluetooth device.
    so how to do ??????

    Is it possible to transfer text via bluetooth to connected bluetooth device.

    Is it possible to transfer text via blue tooth to bluetooth connected device.
    I am able to detect devices & select a device and connected to it .
    now i want to transfer text file.
    is it possible????????????

    If you want to send files, and they should arrive into the inbox, check RSendAs, CSend* or obex in general.

    wat do u mean transfer text via bluetooth..?? U can store ur text in a file then send that file via bluetooth... for bluetooth see CSendUi, RSdp

    well man i dunno whether u can pass text string directly or not.. but i can suggest u somthing.. give an option like SEND in ur dialog box.. on clicking send button.. firstly copy that text into a buffer and then send that via bluetooth..

    i create a dialog box by using CAknTextQueryDilog.
    but i got an error DLL appname-[uid].app has uninitialised data.

    whats wrong.
    plz .....

    See SDK exmaple for dialog code. or search for a while.. dialog is not an big issue..

    Hi,

    ok is there any another way to do this.......

    so did you try adding some global variables (outside your class definition) that are not constant..
