    Caputre volume up/down using background app

    Hi

    I'm able to capture volume up/down keys when the app is in the foreground .
    using :
    CRemConInterfaceSelector,CRemConCoreApiTarget and MrccatoCommand method

    I'm also able to capture other keys when in background
    using:
    RwindowGroup with CaptureKey method

    I'm trying to capture the volume up/down keys when my application is in the background !

    Is there an API for it ?

    I think RwindowGroup with CaptureKeyUpDown able to catch any key in background app. Just make log and find out Key Scan codes for up/down keys.

    emailatravi thank you for the advice
    your suggestion doesn't work

    To capture the multimedia key you have use the remote API
    which works only when your app has a gui and in the background.

    Hi redzvika,

    I am able to captue all keys (6681, N72 etc) . Moreover I am not using GUI (Application) framework to draw anything on screen. I draw things on the screen using my own framework and it is an EXE.

    Ok let me check, if am able to capture multimedia keys.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Ravi
