    Flashlite for BREW Application Development Process

    Flashlite Brew Development:

    Download and install the Flash Lite 2.1 Update for Flash Professional CS3. Join the Adobe Mobile Developer Program.

    Download and install the Flash Lite Publisher for BREW for Flash Professional CS3.
    Flash Lite Publisher for BREW for Flash Professional CS3

    Download and install the Qualcomm BREW SDK 3.1.5. BREW SDK 3.1.5

    Register as a Qualcomm BREW developer. Register

    Download and install the BREW tools suite. BREW tools suite

    Install the Flash Lite for BREW extensions on your target Brew Wireless handset.

    Generate a test .mod, .mif, .dll, .sig file for your BREW handset.

    Open BREW AppLoader - This utility allows developers to load an application from a PC to a BREW-enabled device.
    Once the AppLoader has initialized and your phone is connected properly, you will be ready to transfer files to your BREW device. When transferring files to your device, there are several very important things to remember:
    Your folder name and filenames must be all lowercase with no special characters other than an underscore
    Your folder name must match the name of your .mod, .mif, and .sig files

    Start Flashlite development for Brew:

    Open Flash than choose BREW Handsets and Size:

    Save the file in computer directory then click on publish: settings:

    Click on Post -processor select : Flashlite for Brew than on setting:
    BREW Publisher for Flash Lite (which adds the post processor into the publish settings of Flash CS3)

    Type your class ID and Application name.

    Type the following descriptions and choose your type: Application or Screensaver:

    Select for your application icon:
    Small Size: 16 x 16. Medium icon 26 x 26. Large Icon 65 x 42.

    Define output setting:
    Specify the location in which to publish files for the Brew simulator and target folder.

    Summary of your selection screen to review the applet setting you selected.

    Open BREW AppLoader - This utility allows developers to load an application from a PC to a BREW-enabled device. And You can also use BitPim. BitPim is a program that allows you to view and manipulate data on many CDMA phones from LG, Samsung, Sanyo and other manufacturers.
    Once the AppLoader has initialized and your phone is connected properly, you will be ready to transfer files to your BREW device. When transferring files to your device, there are several very important things to remember:

    Your folder name must match the name of your .mod, .mif, and .sig files
    Transfer your Flash Lite content to your target handset.
