How to distribute a program that uses the connectivity SDK

    Hello,
I want to write a VB program that can read/write the phone book and calendar items of nokia phones. For that I use the SDK 3.0.
How do I distribute such a solution?
I generated a MSI file containing the required dlls, but this does not work. It seems the user has to install the SDK as well?
Does the user have to download and install the connectivity kit?
If so how to avoid this? (because that a lot of MBytes for the user to downlaod)
There are many programs for nokia phones, but no one uses the SDK as I can see? How do they access the phone(s)?

    thank you,
    Christoph

You should check which DLLs can self register and watch for files that are copied to the system folder.

Anyway, if you find the answer to the question or a different approach, I would be interested in a hint, too.

    Steve.
