Could you start by detailing what you are trying to achieve and what steps you have taken to create the Symbian6 project? Smartphone .NET and Symbian OS do not mix, so not sure what is going on here..

ok, i'm sorry for the mess.

1)i install Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2005
2)i install nokia pc suite (i have Nokia 6120c)
    3)i install ActivePerl-5.6.1.635-MSWin32-x86
4)i install Java Runtime Version 6 Update 3
    5)i install S60-SDK-200634-3.1-Cpp-f.1090b
    6)i install Carbide.c++ v3.0

    7)i open Hello World project
8)i comple it to the emulator : ok.
9)now i want to comple it for the Device so i did this:
    *)i choose Rel_S60_31_GCCE
now , i find alot of manual, but they didn't say how to
Configurate it accuracy. so i try, but i can't compile it.

    thank you,
    Gonen.

So all those steps look good, except when you say "i find alot of manual, but they didn't say how to Configurate it accuracy".

When you choose the GCCE build, you are *not* supposed to do any manual configuration, just choose the GCCE config and build. The build properties look kind of empty but that is ok. So if you did any manual config for the GCCE build, just try to create a new Hello World project and then do NO configs, just build for emulator, change to GCCE and build for target. And while you are at it, get the "Getting started" guide and read it for more details. Found from: http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n...70255cdd6.html

    Unhappy Re: can't compile for the Smartphone (.NET 2005 & Carbide.vs 3.0)

Ok, I already read this "Getting started" guide, but it's not exactly the same…
    I give some more details:
    1) I cerate new project
    Project type : Symbian 9.
Project template: S60 3rd en. Hello world application.
Select SDK: S60 3.0 FP1 (I mark WINSCW and GCCE)
    And pressed finish.
    2) In the solution configuration I choose : Rel_S60_31_GCCE
In the solution platforms( I did't change): Win32
And then Rebuild solution : ok.

Now I double click on Symbian1.sys when my Nokia is USB to my PC.
It's ask If I want to install the program
I say "yes" then he wrote my(translated to English):
" Certificate Error , speak to the application suppler "

    Thank for the attention,
    Gonen.

Well, the application supplier is you, so I suggest you have a serious discussion. To troubleshoot the issue, search would have uncovered a number of resources such as: http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...roubleshooting.

    Hi goniak,

You need to sign your sis file before you can install it to device.

See section 6.2.2 in the Getting started guide how to set up certificates and signing.
