    audio streaming

    hi guys

I am looking for audio streaming solution for j2me.

so far i hv tried n got a 80% success but due to some limitations with player and inputstream not able to achieve 100%.

right now m using 2 player concept :
    like it start as
    a) fetch chunk of data
    b) give it to first player for playing
    c) simultaneously start for scond chunk and once buffering gets completed assign buffered data to second player
    d) once first player done start playing second player and again start buffering for first player.

now the issue is the time, second player takes in start......
    that time jerk is visible.......

is there any other way to do this.

i m using DRM implemented files so it is not possible to use file protocol with player directly....

    any valuable suggestion is awaited.....

    looking for prompt reply...........

    Re: audio streaming

    hi,

I have also worked for the same kind of solutins but still we have limitations in j2me...we can not implement the concept of a two-end buffer in which from one side we can write and read from other.

The two player solution is bound to glitch because of the timing involved in closing the one player and starting the other one.

hope Nokia people will realize this and come up with solution in next MIDP release.

As far as the DRM is concerned, only the AMS and browser can understand the the unlocking key send by WAP push.

    Regards
