and also.. when i search using the phones browser i want to copy over the top 10 docs to my own application.

hi, u can try reading the documents for Python for S60. there's an example to how to get your GPS information. I have just started on GPS as well and hence is unable to help u much. Does anyone know how to extract the co-ordinates? As I will recieve a whole chunk of information and I only want the Co-ordinates. Is there anyone who know about this?

    Hi neil1811,

Are you trying to work with external GPS Receiver with your E65?
I do not think E65 has an inbuilt GPS receiver!

i think you just answered my question there!!
i only recently learned that it didnt have that.
Can i return anything useful using the navigator?
Or would i be able to gain any information using Gsm.location()?

    Thank Croozeus

    Hi neil1811,

Not with the navigator, But using the location module or elocation of Berger you can get the cellid for the area.

    hi neil
its really nice that u r interested in location based services the location module contains a lot of stuff and u can really make very unique applications using that module. but the limitation is its not as efficient as GPS.hope u will work more on location based services.

    enjoy pythonin
