Exclamation TC PublisherID browser export failed (Express Signing)

After buying a Trustcenter.de Publisher ID, i CANT export the key to a symbian conform cert/key signsis-file combination [1]. I am using unfortunatly an old mozilla (1.7.6) and cant change the browser later [2]

So i backup the certifcate to a p12-file and now need to
    exract a cert/key combination using "tcp12p8.bat" [3]
But nor Trustcenters emails or a Symbian SDK contains "tcp12p8.bat"...

How to export a certificate (where can i read about the process) ?
    --
[1] as described in Step 2 of "The Complete Guit to Symbian Signed"
[2] "The certificate cannot be installed, since you are not using the same browser as during the certificate request." - Why?

Re: TC PublisherID browser export failed (Express Signing)

After searching for hours i got a a hit for TCP12P8 at [1]
Anyway, the "The Complete Guide to Symbian Signed" missing the interresting part the extract the cerificate from the/various browser(s) - only an old document [2] describe these process.

If this express process should be for a bunch of developers, this document/step should be improved a lot.

    Thanks anyway, for attention.

    Hi,

In the readme for TC-ConvertP12, you can read:
TC-ConvertP12 is a script around openssl to extract from PKCS#12 files
    (.p12 or .pfx) the following:
    - the private key, will be stored as PKCS#8 (.key)
    - the certificate, will be stored as X.509 (.cer)

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

    Usage: tcp12p8 p12File [p12Password] [keyFile] [certFile]
    - p12File - (mandatory) name of p12/pfx file
    - p12Password - Password for p12File (keep empty for interactive pwd input)
    - keyFile - name of key file to write
    - certFile - name of certificate file to write

    Note:
If the P12 is password protected and no p12Password is given on
command line, you will be prompted for the password twice.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

    Licenses:
Please observe the license conditions in License.doc and
    OpenSSL-LICENSE.txt.
Then if, for example your p12-file is p12.pfx and your password is pwd, just run following command:
    Code:
    tcp12p8.bat p12.pfx pwd p12.key p12.cer
    and it should work.

    Best regards,
    Antoine POULAT from Sogeti.
