    Why should it work? The SDK Help uses clear wording:

    Re: The file 'CServerSocket.h' cannot be opened

    Hi Wizard_hu_,

    Thanx to UR replay..,

    The above example I compiled with 'SDK 3rd FP2 Beta' also,

    Is the serversocket.lib is not part S60 SDK ..?

    If so where can i get the 'serversocket.lib' , I need this library for the following header files to be included in my project..

    #include <CServerSocket.h>
    #include <CMessage.h>
    #include <CClientSocket.h>
    #include <CCommand.h>
    #include <MFactory.h>

    Complete reference for the above are available at "Symbian OS v9.2 » Symbian OS reference » C++ component reference » CONNECTIVITY » conn"

    Please provide the possible solutions..,

    Thanx,
    Jaya

    Re: The file 'CServerSocket.h' cannot be opened

    If the example is originating from FP2, and the FP1 SDK says it does not contain this API, I would guess that this example will compile with FP2 only.
    What do you need exactly? If you want to test this API: bad news, there are no 3rd ed. FP2 devices. If you want to have server sockets for BT/IP for example: good news, RSocket API exists for a while, and you can find many examples (starting with S60Ex\Chat in the FP1 SDK).

    Hi Wizard_hu_,

    Thanx to UR replay..,

    I want to develop an application which will communicate with the PC over USB,

    I need develop a real time streaming channel from symbian S60 to Windows PC through USB .., To achive this i tried for the 'serversocket.lib'
    (I have refered .. 'Programming.PC.Connectivity.Applications.for.Symbian.OS.pdf' and
    ' » Symbian OS v9.2 » Symbian OS guide » Connectivity » Connectivity engineering documents')

    Please help me for the above issue

    1> What are all API available with S60 SDK PF1
    2> Can i use ESOCK - RSocket(at Symbian) and SCOM(at windows) to achive this.
    3> Will ESOCK helps me to achive real time streaming ..??

    Thanx,
    Jaya
